Stewards Matrix

How to move through the grades of MNZ Stewardship 

Level One to Level Two

Obtain the Level Two test paper from this website, complete and return it to the MNZ Office. Assist a higher grade Steward at two Club Events and have them complete the assessment sheet, and be returned to the MNZ Office.

You must also attend at least one Stewards Seminar in a twelve month period – these are held through out the country and are free of charge.  Notification of such seminars are by way of circular (posted) and on our website.

Note: It is not an automatic assumption that you will move to the next grade. Your test paper and assessment sheets will be reviewed and you will be notified of the outcome by way of post.  You must allow 21 working days for an outcome. 

Level Two to Level Three

Obtain the Level Three test paper from this website, complete and return it to the MNZ Office.  Assist an existing Level 3 or 4 Steward, at two or more events, have them complete the assessment sheet and return it to the MNZ Office.

Level Three to Level Four

Obtain the Level Four test paper from this website, complete and return it to the MNZ Office.  Steward in conjunction with an existing Level 4 Steward a New Zealand or Island Championship event, and a Major event, two or more events, have them complete the assessment sheet and return it to the MNZ Office.
