MNZ Licence Holders Insurance Scheme

This is a compulsary scheme.  All administrators and current MNZ licenced members, including trail riders and one day licence holders, partaking in MNZ permitted events are covered by this insurance.

The policy covers competitors for accidental death only, the maximum amount payable is $15,000. 

Claim form and details on the claim procedures are available from the office of Motorcycling New Zealand.

INTERNATIONAL INSURANCE

We advise Motorcycling New Zealand will no longer issue International Insurance from the office.

To compete internationally (including Australia) you must still obtain insurance to the below standard:

Permanent Disability      USD 70,000
Medical & Dental            USD 15,000
Fatality                          USD 35,000
Repatriation                   USD 7,500

Once you have an insurance policy issued, and proof of insurance has been provided to Motorcycling New Zealand, a start permission and your international licence (if required) will be issued.

Over the past six months we have been pressured to supply insurance at 24 hours notice, this may no longer be possible, please ensure you arrange your insurance within a reasonable time frame, it is advisable that you give at least 14 days working notice to any insurance company.
