To All Affiliated Clubs:
Any club that is affiliated to MNZ is required by the rules of membership to Permit all events.
Chapter 4 of The MNZ Manual of Motorcycle Sport covers the rules regarding sanction of meetings.
Rule 1-3a makes it clear that member clubs that run events not sanctioned by MNZ are in breach of our rules.
MNZ permitted events are issued with a Permit Number, this must be displayed at the event and printed on the entry form. All MNZ permitted events are listed on our website with the permit number.
MNZs comprehensive insurance cover does not cover events that are not permitted by MNZ.
MNZ has a policy that allows clubs to Permit, free of charge, up to five approved TRAINING days in anyone year (01July – 30 June)
If clubs and/or individuals are uncertain on any of these matters they are advised to contact MNZ.
